Benefits of being a WGBA Member

Inclusion in the WGBA Website and membership directory

The WGBA website, www.downtownwillowglen.org will improve your business' visibility throughout the Willow Glen Neighborhood and the greater San Jose area. Additionally, as a member of the WGBA, you will have access to post your own news, events, photos, and coupons straight to the website.

Participation in WGBA promotions and advertising

WGBA's community-wide promotions and advertising opportunities are available to all full members of the WGBA and are sometimes offered to associate members as well.

Participation in all WGBA meetings and social events

WGBA events provide you with opportunities to make business and personal contacts with other Willow Glen merchants and professionals.

Participation in WGBA community events

This includes volunteer, sponsorship, booth presence and advertising opportunities.

Full voting rights and service on committees and the Board of Directors

As a full or associate member, you will have the opportunity to contribute your talents to shape the direction of Downtown Willow Glen and lend your expertise to the community.

Membership Requirements

Full Members

Full membership in the WGBA is extended out to all businesses and property owners located within the boundaries of the Willow Glen Community Benefit Improvement District in San Jose. All businesses and property owners located within this CBID are automatically enrolled as full members.

Associate Members

Businesses located in the Willow Glen Neighborhood, but not within the Willow Glen CBID are qualified to join the WGBA as associate members. Associate members enjoy most of the benefits that full members enjoy and many in the past have been very active in the WGBA. Associate members must own retail or professional businesses located in the Willow Glen neighborhood bounded by San Carlos Street to the North, Highway 87 to the East, Foxworthy Avenue to the South and Meridian Avenue to the West. Businesses outside of these boundaries will be considered for Associate membership subject to Board approval.

To join the WGBA, associate members must complete an Associate Member Application and pay membership dues based on the following fee structure:

• Retail Businesses/Restaurants - $240
• Non-retail Businesses - $120
• Property Owners - $120
• Banks - $500
