About Hanley Law

Small Firm. Big Results.

Hanley Law is a boutique law firm located in the heart of downtown Willow Glen in San Jose, California. Founded by Daniel E. Hanley in 1974, his son, Sean S. Hanley, joined the firm as a fellow attorney in 2007. Unlike many high-rise law firms, Hanley Law is small by design. Our practice is built on helping our clients achieve their goals with personalized and responsive representation.

We believe it’s good business to put our clients’ needs first. Whether itsEstate Planning, Real Estate LawtoBankruptcy and assisting clients in alternative dispute resolution methods, we use a sensible approach that’s customized to your situation.

40+ Years of Experience

With more than 40 years of combined legal experience, Hanley Law offers individualized attention that you simply won’t find at a large firm. Experience has taught us that every situation is unique. We also know that working on a legal matter can be stressful. That’s why we take the time to get to know our clients and counsel them on making smart decisions regarding their future. We’re in business to help individuals, families and businesses make the best legal choices available. Together, we will make a plan that works for you.

The Benefits of In-Depth Knowledge

Deciding to hire a law firm is a big decision, and our clients appreciate the breadth of knowledge we offer.

Tapping into his economics and business administration education, Sean assists individuals and business clientele seeking debt relief either through Bankruptcy and other avenues. Sean also specializes in real estate, including the technical and ever-changing legal and tax implications associated with foreclosures and short sales.
