The City of San José’s Department of Parks, Recreation and Neighborhood Services Placemaking Program is thrilled to celebrate the 10th Anniversary of Viva CalleSJ on Sunday, September 7th, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

 

Join us for San José’s biggest “open playground” where you can bike, skate, run, walk, stroll, or roll your way through the city!

 

This year’s anniversary route, titled “Las Calles,” will highlight the heart of San José, weaving through historic Willow Glen, the Municipal Rose Garden, San Carlos, Little Italy, Japantown, and cruising to Watson Park.

 

This free, family-friendly event features food trucks, local artisans, community resources, nonprofits, live entertainment, and fun activities for all ages. Let’s celebrate 10 years of community, culture, and car-free streets!
