On September 8, 1927, Willow Glen voted to incorporate as its own town in order to block the Southern Pacific Railroad from going through their neighborhood. The Willow Glen Community Farmers' Market - featuring close to 40 booths - is located at The Garden Theater building, 1165 Lincoln Avenue, in the heart of Willow Glen. Powell's Sweet Shoppe of Willow Glen presents the Third Annual Sweet Sunday Kids' Flea Market! The children of Willow Glen and surrounding neighborhoods, age 12 and younger, are invited to participate! In addition to all the flea market fun, we'll also offer face painting and raffle prizes.
